  Exceeded expectations. That's my biggest takeaway. And speaking of takeaways, I over-ordered with the idea of having a late-night snack, but there were no leftovers!  
  The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My only knock on the dining experience was the apparent lack of alcohol in our pitcher of frozen strawberry margaritas. I wasn't looking to get drunk at dinner, but I would have liked a little kick in my drink.  
  My favorite part of the restaurant was the peppers growing out front. I have a little pepper garden at home, so it was crazy nice to see some Mad Hatters growing out in public. Plus, a bunch of ghost peppers!

  Alright, had a very bad experience here. Came from Chicago to go to cedar point and wanted some Mexican food. I would definitely not recommend it at all.
  1st. The people that comment that the food was delicious, clearly doesn't know true authentic Mexican food. It was very bland and the alcohol drinks are expensive and watered down. Tasted like if I were to go to Walmart and buy the frozen burrito and cook it in the microwave and served it trying to pass it off as authentic.
  2nd. They sat us at a table with a whole bunch of fruit flys buzzing around and we moved to a different table but there were still some buzzing around. Very annoying when your trying to eat indoors. I would kinda understand if we ate outside.
  3rd. My girlfriend found a dead bug in her food on the plate and had them take it back. They didn't apologize for it or anything. They just took the plate and left. They took it off the bill at the end.
  
  Overall I would definitely avoid this place. We ended up getting Cameo pizza and that pizza was very delicious! Trust me I'm from Chicago and we know our pizza!

  We rented a house through AirBNB that was just around the corner from this place, and on our last night in town we were all craving Mexican food, so we ordered take-out.  It was ready in a reasonable amount of time, and the staff were very friendly when I arrived.  However, the food was just average (not bad, but not great).  I read some reviews saying it was the "best Mexican food ever", and I can only think those individuals have never had really good Mexican food.  Portion sizes were OK, and prices were reasonable.

  I went for lunch ordered the beef chimichanga with rice and beans and a lime jumbo margarita that was soooooo strong omg had me on my ass for hours the food was amazing! Don't know why they have bad reviews definitely good in my book!

  To be perfectly honest, if I could give less than 1 Star, I would.
  
  A group of 6 of us were staying at Kalahari for a bachelorette weekend. The bride wanted to get out of Kalahari for a dinner, so upon checking Yelp, we decided to go with Costa Azul due to the 4.5 star ratings and good reviews.
  
  When we arrived, we were promptly seated and given chips and salsa. The chips were very stale and basically not edible. So due to that, and the fact that it is not free refills on chips and salsa, we did not eat them.
  
  They took our orders for drinks and we decided on two frozen pitchers of margaritas. (Most Mexican restaurants, you really get far with these, as you can definitely taste the tequila in them.) However, we could not taste any alcohol at all. So we were highly disappointed in the expensive frozen Kool-Aids that we purchased.
  
  When receiving our food, the portions were very small for what you usually receive at a typical Mexican restaurant. The descriptions listed for the food, was not what we received. The descriptions stated the quesadilla supreme stated it would have cheese, peppers, etc. However, all of our food arrived very plain, no cheese, no peppers, just meat.
  
  About half way through our meal, one of the girls, very abruptly stopped eating, and proceeded to pull multiple strands of hair from her food..which she was in the process of chewing. This ended with the rest of us to stop eating and leave almost half of our entrees untouched.
  
  The server did not stop by once to ask how the food was, and upon seeing the 6 of us eat only half of our food, she did not inquire if we enjoyed our meals or if there was anything she could do.
  
  We received the bill which I went to the counter to pay, and the two women asked how everything was which I replied, "Well, one girl discovered a few strands of hair in her food and the margaritas did not taste like they had any alcohol in them at all, so we were disappointed." The two women began to speak to each other in Spanish and did not reply to my statement or apologize.
  
  I would suggest to others to avoid this restaurant if you are looking for good margaritas, good food and good customer service. If those three things don't matter to you, then you have found your place!
